This workshop starts with an overview discussion of board leadership and engagement, including roles and responsibilities; productive collaboration between the board and the executive; how to be strategic in your approach; and techniques for strengthening your board. Next, a panel of nonprofit experts will share their tips and strategies for board recruitment and development, as well as best practices of boards that excel.
