Tue 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Have you been hearing the word co-ops a lot lately but not quite sure what they are? Come join us for a Co-op Cafe to learn more.

This is an informal, interactive talk about co-ops and why people throughout history have organized them across the US and the world. What worked and what hasn't worked? What can we learn from their stories? As co-op enthusiasts, it is helpful to have a historical grounding in cooperative movements and milestones. Co-op history is rich, but where should we start? We will take a look at key cooperative advances to learn what motivates people to come together to organize cooperatives. A look at motivations may help inform the work we undertake in our communities.
